Woodland Camping

Enjoy the Great Outdoors Festival from a gorgeous woodland camping pitch.  The perfect base to explore the beautiful Marks Hall Estate and Arboretum and take part in all the workshops and activities the Festival has to offer. Tarps and hammocks only. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Field Camping

Need a bit more space and the luxury of a tent? Our field camping option is for you.  Pitch up and relax in the breathtaking surroundings of The Marks Hall estate and Arboretum.  Enjoy fantastic food and entertainment along discovering the best of the outdoors with amazing speakers, schools and adventure companies.

Day Tickets

Can't manage the full weekend? Come for the day and see what we are all about.  Day ticket holders can access all the workshops, talks, activities and masterclasses.  With three fun packed days it will be tough to pick when to come.

Ticket Information

General

  1. All tickets must be paid for in full upon booking.

  2. All weekend tickets include camping, either in the woodland or open field.

  3. Children are aged 15 and below and are free.

  4. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  5. No caravans on site.

  6. Well behaved dogs are welcome to The Great Outdoors Festival and to Marks Hall Estate especially on all of their Woodland Walks. However, please note that the Arboretum, a 200-acre area within the deer fence that includes the estate's amazing tree collection, is a dog-free zone. There are trees from all over the temperate world, with many rare and unusual plants, the presence of large numbers of dogs could be very damaging to the special species that they are growing and protecting here.

  7. Tickets are non-refundable.

  8. Tickets are non-transferable and not for resale.

  9. Tickets cannot be used in promotions or competitions without the express permission of the organisers.

  10. Gates open at 08.00 on 23rd July, please do not arrive before this, gates are open from 08.00 - 20.00 on 23rd for weekend ticket holders.

  11. 23rd July 2020 is to allow attendees to set up only, the Festival will not open until 10.00 on Friday 24th July.

  12. Camp fires are permitted but must raised off the ground in a fire pit or brazier.  No camp fires in campervan area.

  13. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to find out if the event has been cancelled or rescheduled, the organisers will endeavour to inform all ticket holders should the Festival be cancelled or rescheduled but cannot guarantee that this information will reach all ticket holders before the date of the Festival.

  14. The organisers do not take responsibility for list or stolen tickets but will endeavour to replace them wherever possible.

  15. Illegal drugs are not permitted on site, anyone found under the influence or with illegal drugs will be asked to leave without a refund.

  16. The organisers reserve the right to alter and/or vary the programme at the Festival; due to circumstances outside our reasonable control; without the obligation to refund or exchange tickets.

  17. The organisers reserve the right to remove or refuse admission to any individuals that breach the terms and conditions.

  18. The organisers cannot and will not accept responsibility; financial or otherwise; for the loss or damage of personal property or personal injury at the festival, unless it should arise from negligence.

  19. Attendees are not permitted to promote a business or sell products unless they are a school or vendor in attendance at the Festival.  Any breaches of this may result in the attendee being asked to leave.

  20. No generators on site.

  21. Alcohol will be on sale at the Festival, a challenge 25 policy will be in operation.

  22. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and adult’s phone number written on the wristband.

  23. Please respect the site boundaries, do not enter neighbouring properties.

  24. Wristband checkpoints will be in operation throughout the site so please wear your wristbands at all times, failure to do so could lead to being asked to leave.

  25. Broken and/or lost wristbands can be replaced at the information desk.

  26. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove anyone participating in lewd, threatening or anti-social behaviour.

  27. No cutting of trees or branches; fallen or standing; for firewood on site, attendees can purchase it or bring some with them.

 

Woodland Camping

  1. Suitable for tarps and hammocks only.

  2. Should an attendee try to pitch a tent in the woodland, they will be asked to move, and should the field camping be sold out could be asked to leave the Festival without a refund.

  3. The ground is unsuitable for those with physical disabilities, there are allocated field camping pitches more suitable for those with physical disabilities.
